Meet Kevin

Licensed in DC and Maryland, Kevin Slagle believes that people’s homes are sacred spaces – the most important moments of our lives happen there, and those stories become part of the physical space. With an architect grandfather and builder dad, Kevin grew up around real estate. For 20 years he worked as a custom home builder and general contractor, experience he uses to help his clients find their own sacred space. Thanks to his contracting expertise and genuine love of homes, Kevin can see the possibilities in every home and identify areas of concern for his clients. After growing up in Frederick, Kevin left in 2000 for the Bay area, where he owned a construction company with his wife. On a visit back home in 2018, he and his wife “spontaneously” bought a farm, and he spends most of his free time restoring the 280-year-old farmhouse where they live with their two kids. A creative writing major at Goddard College, Kevin continues to write and is a visual artist – a lot of his work centers around the idea of home. He plays competitive soccer, travels around the world and hosts regular art nights in his studio.
